Registered letter is a mail item containing written correspondence or goods. At the time of posting the registered “R” bar code is assigned to the item. The sender receives a receipt of mailing and it will be delivered to the addressee against his/her signature.

International mail items shall be accepted open in order to allow postal officials to inspect the contents in presence of the sender in terms of regulations defining customs and monetary control of postal items. For lettermail items whose contents are goods the sender is obliged to fill out specified number of “Customs declaration” forms (CN 23 or CN 22).CN 23 или CN 22).

Попуњавање царинских декларација спада у искључиву одговорност пошиљаоца. Образац Царинска декларација служи за царинске потребе. Пошиљалац је дужан да исправно декларише садржај и вриједност садржаја пошиљке на Царинској декларацији и када се ради о пошиљкама без означене вриједности, као и без обзира да ли је садржај пошиљке поклон примаоцу или није. Царинска декларација треба бити исписана на енглеском, француском или језику познатом у одредишној земљи, а вриједност садржаја декларисана у валути одредишне државе или некој међународно познатој валути. Примјери правилног попуњавања образаца „Царинска декларација” (CN23 or CN 22).

Prohibited articles

It is forbidden to send in postal items: explosive, easily flammable, radioactive or other dangerous substances, objects whose transfer threatens the health and life of humans and other postal items, narcotics and psychoactive substances, immoral contents, live animals, except animals whose transport is regulated by specific terms for the provision of postal services, and other goods and objects whose transport is prohibited by law and other regulations, as well as items whose import is prohibited in destination country. Please note that it is prohibited to put money, any securities, checks, platinum, gold, silver, precious stones, jewelry or any other precious contents in postal items without declared value.
